We, a group of Afghan women who have endured war, discrimination, and violence, have overcome the challenges of immigration, social obstacles, and patriarchal norms to pursue education, fight for our rights, and engage in social, cultural, and economic activities. Following the Taliban regime takeover Afghanistan, we have migrated to America/Europe, yet our struggle to advocate for Afghan women’s rights persists.

As oppressed and resilient women, we consider ourselves responsible for advocating, supporting, and empowering Afghan women who are currently facing hardships. These conditions are not limited to a specific time and place; even women living in advanced countries may be denied access to education, freedom, and healthcare due to traditional, patriarchal, and religious beliefs.

Our emphasis is on supporting women and girls, as they are the foundation of every family and the key to transforming the lives of Afghan people through awareness, growth, and empowerment. We believe that the liberation, progress, and freedom of future generations and Afghan society depend on the awareness, growth, empowerment, education, and health of women.

As the founders of “Equity for Afghan Women And Girls” (EAWAG), we are driven by motivation, justice, fairness, freedom, and change for women’s lives, and we strive to help all our fellow women in Afghanistan and beyond. Our goal is to achieve a society free from violence, discrimination, and poverty, and we have entered the field with the slogan of equity and justice, not just equality, because women require diverse forms of support, knowledge, and awareness per their circumstance.

ما جمعی از زنان افغانستان که قربانی جنگ، تبعیض و خشونت بوده ایم با وجود تمام مشکلات مهاجرت، چالش های اجتماعی و مردسالارانه توانستیم درس بخوانیم، برای دست یابی به حقوق خود مبارزه کنیم و در فعالیت های اجتماعی، فرهنگی، اقتصادی سهیم شویم. اکنون پس از تسلط رژیم زن ستیز طالبان بر افغانستان، به آمریکا/اروپا مهاجر شده ایم اما مبارزه ما در راستای دادخواهی برای زنان افغانستان همچنان ادامه دارد.

ما به عنوان زنان تحت ستم و رنجدیده اما مبارز و استوار، خود را مسئول دادخواهی، حمایت و یاری زنان افغانستانی می دانیم که اکنون در شرایط سختی به سر می برند. این شرایط محدود به زمان و مکان مشخصی نیست حتی می توان به زنانی اشاره کرد که با وجود زندگی در یک کشور پیشرفته از دسترسی به حقل تحصیل، آزادی و خدمات درمانی به دلیل افکار سنتی، مرد سالارانه و مذهبی محروم هستند.

تاکید ما بر حمایت از زنان و  دختران است، چرا که پایه و اساس اصلی هر خانواده و تغییر دهنده شیوه زندگی مردم افغانستان در گرو آگاهی، رشد و توانمندسازی این قشر جامعه خواهد بود. ما بر این عقیده ایم که رهایی، پیشرفت و آزادی نسل آینده و جامعه افغانستان در گروه آگاهی، رشد، توانمندسازی، تحصیل و سلامت زنان جامعه خواهد بود.

ما زنان بنیان گذار “انصاف برای زنان و دختران افغانستان” با انگیزه، عدالت، انصاف، آزادی و تغییر برای زندگی زنان، سعی داریم به تمام هم نوعان خود در افغانستان و حتی خارج از آن کمک نماییم. هدف ما دستیابی و رسیدن به جامعه ای عاری از خشونت، تبعیض و فقر است و ما این بار با شعار انصاف و عدالت به میدان آمده ایم نه با شعار برابری، چرا که زن ها با توجه به شرایط خاص و منحصربه فرد خود نیازمند انواع مختلف حمایت، دانش و آگاهی هستند.
